As Spring arrives we look forward to lighter evenings and warmer temperatures. It is a season of growth. It is a time for coming out of winter hibernation! Those who decide to explore the Ebbw Vale Institute will find lots going on and a very friendly atmosphere.

The twice weekly sessions of mindfulness, meditation, relaxation will continue and anyone is welcome to attend. The approach is entirely secular and practical. You do not need to have a religious faith. You will not be encouraged to buy into the many forms of metaphysical speculation that abound. Nor do you need to have any experience of meditation practice.

What we practice is firmly based on solid ground, a deeper understanding of how our minds and bodies work at a physiological and psychological level, and a better appreciation of the nature of stress, anxiety and worry as we encounter them in our everyday experience.

When we arrive at a greater awareness of what, how, and why things are going on we are already on the way to better control, more peace of mind and a happier way to live.

If you would like to find out more, just come along to any session. You will be very welcome. Visit the EVI website for details of times.
