Many people ask, 'What is mindfulness?' 'Why practice meditation?'

Have you tried driving a car without shock absorbers? It's an unsafe and uncomfortable ride!

The mind is an intermediate agent between external events and the energy of our emotions, but only if we have trained our mind in awareness and compassion, while also bringing a new focus to our physiological functioning. This way we can choose a response, rather than a blind reaction. It makes all the difference.

Is it easy? No. Does it take time and practice? Yes; the practice never stops. Is it beautiful and rewarding? You must find that out for yourself! You can choose to find out.
